"Dhamas revenues are projected at $1 million in 2010-11 and $100 million in five years."
Kranthi (founder)

Founded by Kranthi Vistakula in 2008, Dhama Innovations was conceived while Kranthi who has a Bachelors Biomedical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru University - Hyderabad, was pursuing his Masters at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston.

Kranthi was plagued by the most common problem faced by people living in harsh climatic conditions, that of adjusting to varying and extreme temperatures. When living in Boston, Kranthi would have to dress in layers of clothing before stepping out of home due to the acute cold outside but remove all those layers the minute he went indoors due to centralized heating systems.

Motivated by his own discomfort Kranthi started to work on a solution that would help him and other people to better adjust to the climatic conditions and thus was born ClimaCon a patented Climate Control technology that has inspired ClimaWare a range of functional apparel, the first products in Dhama Innovations' portfolio. An entrepreneur at heart, Kranthi had always wanted to start a company that would design revolutionary and innovative products and so armed the first prototype of a ClimaGear, a jacket made using the ClimaCon technology, he came to India and embarked on the journey of establishing his company.
